ONLY ONE BRAKE LIGHT IS NOT WORKING - ALL ES IS OK - since that turn signal is functional then it means the bulb and wiring are ok period - - That leaves the multifunction switch on the steering column as suspect.. The rear brake light circuits pass through the multifunction switch before going to rear lights.. It is kinda difficult to understand exactly how this functions but that’s the way it been since signal lights became standard equipment. Good luck!
This setup is necessary so the signal light switch can interrupt the brake light while pressing brake pedal with turn signal on.. Otherwise both brake lights would just remain on while pressing brake pedal and signaling at same time.. Recommend *hands-on* assistance from qualifying personnel - you’ve reached your DIYer’s limit.
