What is your question?
I just got back from Precision Tune and they told me the timing belt needs to be changed and it will cost between $700 and $900. Is this a good price? I bought the car used so I do not know if the belt has been changed before. How can I be sure I am not being told I need to do something if it doesn't need to be done. If I take it to Auto Zone for a free check, will the diagnostic codes tell me anything about the timing belt?

stay the hell away from P-TUNE!!!!!!YOUR CAR HAS A TIMING CHAIN,NOT A BELT.if it's the 2.4L......NOW if it is the 3.5L 6 cylinder, then yes it does have a timing belt and should be replaced at 105,000 miles normal driving conditions and 60,000 miles in severe dusty driving conditions.THE TIMING CHAIN ON THE 2.4L 4 CYLINDER SHOULD LAST THE LIFE OF THE CAR,UNLESS RATTLING,MAKING NOISE OR BREAKS!!BUT DON'T LET P-TUNE TOUCH IT!!!if they told you that your 4 cylinder,2.4L 2009 accord needs a timing BELT,then what is wrong with this picture?STAY AWAY FROM P-TUNE!! if your car is running good and the check engine light is not on,then you don't need to take it to Autozone or anywhere else.just drive it.
