I don't know. The IMA light generally goes off when I turn my car off and let it sit for a while. The check engine light generally stays on for a day or two depending on how long of a trip I make after it has come on. So I really haven't just pulled the codes are written down lately I'm the last time pull the codes the guy at The parts store would really give me the code for the IMA.
You most likely cannot get the codes for the IMA from a generic code reader. May need to bring it to a shop for that.
