What is your question?
I have replaced VTEC solenoid (which comes with switch). I replace my oil every 3000 miles. Sometimes my car works fine and the engine light shuts itself off. Other times, there is a tinny rattling noise in engine and absolutely no power. When the engine light isn't on, there is a ton of power. I have to shift down to go up hills (more than reasonably so, and only when light is on), but I can't shift as low as I want because when I approach 3000 rpms, it goes into "limp mode" and I REALLY don't like the jerking feeling when that happens. Last time I got codes run, they were p1009, p0116, p2646 and p0011. It has shut the light off itself after oil changes, after getting gas filled, and just at random moments as well. The engine light always comes on when I am going up a hill. I have only had this car for less than 5000 miles and already changed oil twice and replaced solenoid. There must be something BEHIND this issue.

The DTC P2646 is most often caused by low oil LEVEL that creates a low oil PRESSURE situation. Start checking the oil LEVEL BETWEEN oil changes (every 1,000 miles) and top-off as needed. Be sure to use the correct oil for your region (check owners manual) 5w20 is most common for U.S. for that year model ,0w20 okay in winter. HINT--using synthetic will NOT change anything IF it actually has a mechanical issue causing excessive oil consumption. It IS NORMAL for these motors to use a certain amount of oil between changes. HONDA spec is UP TO a quart every 1,000 miles.
Thank you very much. I have seen others say this as well and I will try it. It has been 1000 miles since oil change. But what I don't understand is how even if I don't add oil, the light will turn off and it will run AMAZINGLY for a couple days and then start the problem again a bit later. Why would it all of a sudden work well if no oil has been added? (This isn't a fluke thing, it has happened three or four times)
Monitor oil level along with other conditions , see if there are any other common factors during these 'spells' of running good or bad. And just don't run it low on oil or with low oil pressure! Good luck.
