This is a four cylinder 2005 Honda Accord EX. I have replaced one on a 2004 that just snapped into the steering wheel but this one has a wire about four inches long.Do I have to gt into the steering column?A step by step reply sure would help a fellow out! Thanks four your help!!
Then you are talking about the SWITCH , not the control module!.....with key out and battery disconnected for at least three minutes (safety recommendation) , remove the airbag/horn assembly , that should then give you access to the rest of the wires you are referring to. Also remember to have a radio code handy , for after you re-connect the battery.You can test this switch and other possible sources of cruise not engaging , like the brake switch, you know?
