My transmission light is on in my car, but my transmission is fine. How do I shut it off?

Hello, It's great that the transmission still operates normally, and hopefully it is just an electronic issue. To find out what the transmission control module is reporting, you will need to have the vehicle scanned for trouble codes, and if it is not abundantly clear what the issue is, diagnostics will be needed to correct the issue.
