What is your question?
Purchased the car & did not run. Figured it was not fire but fuel. Replaced the fuel pump & it ran for about 5 months during that time it had difficulty starting at times. I just replaced the pump because of no fuel going through & could not hear fuel pump. Replacing pump it ran for 1 day. It would crank but not turn over, back to the same. It has been 2 weeks sitting so I decided to just sit in the car & turn the switch as I did I was able to hear the pump & decided to turn the switch & it started. What can be the cause of this? I do not have an ohms meter. Fuses okay. Could it be relay or ignition switch. I'm not a mechanic but know a thing or 2. Please driving me insane can you help?

when you turn the switch to ON,NOT START the check engine light comes on and goes off.when the check engine light goes off,it should CLICK.if when the check engine light goes out and does not click,it ain't starting.it will spin over all day but not start.you most likely bought the car when the weather was cooler,so it would start sometimes, but not after the car got hot, just sitting in the shade with the temps you have in AZ.replace the main relay,it's also your fuel pump relay!cold solder joint inside the relay, you can fix it,if you don't want to spend $52.00.when it's hot,it expands, when it cools off it contracts, then it will start.it's under the dash, drivers side, behind cruise control box.google this part number,so you can see what it looks like.20113.... youtube video on how to r&r.maybe 30 minutes.copy and paste the link, watch the 1st and 2nd video below!post results.
