Hi my 2001 Honda accord sedan lx lost brakes,brakes completely hit the floor and break fluid is leaking....leaking from brake and fuel lines in front driver side....can u give me a estimate how much it would cost me ...total with labor...I can do the job myself but have no time as I am busy ...also I can get the parts myself ...just need a mechanic to fix it for me....I got a ahold of two mechanic shops here in Lansing and one gave me a estimate between $175-$250 and other shop a estimate of $185-$280
What makes this problem better or worse?

I really can’t fathom how anyone can give an estimate on this type of repairs without *hands-on* inspection / evaluation ..
The effects of RUST has got to be considered and entered into the equation BEFORE hand..
Replacing one part only leads to another part in need of replacement - done been there too many times!
