What is your question?
I was sitting part with the car running for about 10 to 15 minutes. I didn't notice the temperature gauge but I wasn't looking. as soon as I turn the car off I heard a gurgling sound in the engine and saw steam coming from under the hood. Someone that knew more than I do added water and told me to keep an eye on the temperature gauge and if it started going up to pull over let it cool off a bit and add more water. Until I can get home. I drove all the way home and the temperature never changed. I did have the heat on full blast, not only because it was cold outside, but I've also heard if a car overheats to keep the heat on in the car. Do you think it's the thermostat?
What makes this problem better or worse?
It seems worse if I am sitting for an amount of time with the engine running, only noticed that when I turned the engine off
