why does my car crank no start/stall

Well according to your posted question .. Maybe the a/c compressor is locking up... That'll certainly stall the engine and prevent re-start unless it's turned off! .. I see you're from Vancouve WA, should be cool enough there to drive it without using a/c for awhile, see if I'm right!
