I have replaced ignition switch, key cylinder, distributor and dist cap, soldered the main relay, but still have the problem. Seems like when the ac is turned on it stalls and wont' start

It going to be cool there this week .. Drive it 'without' using the a/c and see IF it still acts up .. May be time to start looking at the air conditioning system for there are possibilities that's the culprit!

Try by passing A/C to see if that helps. If not then you should have a shop look at it to properly diagnose it.
