I see you did read the answer I posted for your other question - that as only a suggestion - the best route to take is have your local auto repair facility check this out for you. Good luck!
Strongly agree with Pushrod. this switch is a very common problem on your car and many other years also,and the ignition switch (electrical part) plugs into the key switch,and should be bought/replaced as one,IF you're doing it yourself,there are plenty of videos on how to. it also matters if Automatic or Manual,and if it's an EX,LX, or a DX model and cost $90.00-$200.00 at RockAuto.com. 1st,call the dealer with your VIN#,cause seems like I remember they will replace the ignition switch(free of charge),although I have "CRS" now,so I may be wrong,so give them a call! good luck.... Problem Description Ignition switch failure may cause the car to stall or fail to start. Honda issued a recall to replace the ignition switch.
