What is your question?
The a/c always blows strong and the compressor does come on but most of the time not cold, i had it recharged but didnt change anything, sometimes ice cold sometimes not at all. any help would be great
I recharged it with a/c pro from advance auto because the previous owner said it had already been converted to R134, both fans do work when the compressor is on and it always blows as it should just not cold
It's probably still low on refrigerant (or could be over-charged). Either way your best solution(that you won't like) is to bring it to a shop and have it done with a commercial machine , that can evacuate , vacuum(very critical part of process) and then re-charge , with the correct amount of r-134. Sorry , but unless you got a vacuum pump for A/C , and a good set of gauges , there's really no other way I can recommend. In the end , you should have good cold A/C , which I believe is your main goal.
thank you i appreciate the advice, im not against taking it to a shop just wanted to see if it was something simple i could do instead but since i dont have an ac vac i guess i will be taking it to the shop now, thanks again
Good luck , get references to a shop , if you don't already have one you deal with.
