Distributor leaking oil real bad, replaced o-ring and shaft seal to no avail.

What is your question?

Marked distributor to head, it went in fine, starts right up and idle is fine but when I took it out for test drive it only goes 30 mph, no more power, what could cause that ?.

Oil INSIDE the dist.?- REPLACE entire assembly including cap & rotor.

i say take back out only after disconect battery get brake cleaner an clean out in side of housing yet i think that is not the problem
