bridge the paper clip in the diagnostic connector, with switch in the off position, located under the pass.side glove box, behind the kick panel.then turn the switch to on,not start.watch the check engine light.example:the check engine light will blink a longer blink,to represent the first digit of a 2 digit number, then it will blink short for the second digit.for instance,1 long blink, then 6 short blinks is for code 16.if there is more than 1 code, the codes will be displayed in sequence then a pause and the codes will repeat.
My check engine light it's good it's my d4 that's the one that blinks and I got that code out of it but I don't know what it is I searched online but it gives a pedal position sensor but my car doesn't bring that I think
ok.it could be several things.first, have you ever changed the main relay, under dash, drivers side?this will cause a crank no start condition, and sometimes cause the d4 light to blink, but rarely.this is a common problem on the hondas, main relay.when it is hot,it may not start.when it cools down,it will start.next,it could be a shift solenoid, under the hood.check the connectors for corrosion,or replace if bad.next it could be the speed sensor on the transmission.next,it could be the tcu.transmission control unit, located on the front pass.side under carpet,in floor.resistors bad to burn in this.
How does the main relay look under the dash I just changed the selenoids the speed sensor but not the txt or main relay where's location main relay under dash how it looks
google this part number,or go to autozone.com and look at the picture.its mounted with a bracket, with 2 screws.the cruise control box is in front of it.part number is 19236( main relay).it also controls the fuel pump.
