The key was lost in 2005 denali.we replaced the key and got it from the dealership.it turns and dash lights come on along with anti theft saying locked..the headlights do not work.Key turns but the thing want even click.what could be the problem

It has new battery.it had been running fine.then the key was lost..the door chime dont work with key on and the headlights..some inside dome lights dont work.but the dash lights also show the word LOCKED with like a pad lock.assuming it is anti theft..Supposeably this yr denali does not have computer key.i assume it does not need to b programmed

Recommend contacting local - mobile locksmith AND mobile mechanic .. For 'whatever' reason - there are more problems now than just a mismatched ignition key..
