What is your question?
I've never had a problem with my a/c until I picked it up from the repair shop this past week. My 2005 Yukon has the Auto Tri-Zone A/C & Heat feature. I took it into dealership to have the 3-2 solenoid they said the hole casing/harness had to be replaced in the transmission which I don't know about but anyway I had them replace the filter. My Yukon has 105000 miles on it. I didn't want them to replace the fluid because nothing was wrong with it and I thought it would cause more problems so they took half out so they could do the repair and then refilled and that was all. Now the front A/c in my Yukon does not function right. the back works just as it always has and it very cold and is working properly. When the front does work it works at all levels (can be turned high and low speed) and is very cold as usual but doesn't always turn on and once the driver side vent didn't work but all other vents worked. when it does eventually decide to work as I'm driving in the 100 degree weather it comes on full blast on auto and I can then turn it down and direct the air flow from auto to blow through the vents and the floor board vents as well. When I called to let the dealership know that they needed to fix the a/c that they must have hit something they told me it would cost me 300 for them to look at it and could cost additional in parts and labor to fix. I was floored. Can someone please tell me if this was just a bad timing for me or did the repair shop do this? I kind of feel as though I'm getting overcharged but if not then I'm willing to pay. I just forked out $800 for the 3-2 solenoid and filter replacement.

Ok... I just looked up C4 and found a better answer that one related to Macgyver and more towards automobiles and came up with C4 auto transmission. So yes, I did read about this earlier and people replacing with this... but my problem now is not with the transmission and I dont anticipate any further problems while I have it. My issue is that the A/c in the front now doesnt work right and when I called the service guy I had been dealing with to let him know of the issue expecting it would be a minor tweek of a fix to bring it back in and I would be back to normal no charge of course but no the conversation was nothing like that. I figured it was something simple like a reset or maybe something in the computer that wasnt all the way reset that just needed to be finished that was left off or fogotten just like the head of the service department said when i picked up my car they usually wipe out the car and take it to get a complementy clean but they didnt clean mine. He says that I may have hit a rock on the way home and that caused it or that a repair shop way back when it was serviced in Oct of 2015 must not have re charged it which I know you dont need to recharge a/c unless their is a leak or problem. I'm just thinking back now... my car sat there from 1:00 until I picked it up a 5:45 and the floor thing was removed nor was it cleaned out... Also, they couldnt understand why it was parked so far away. It was parked at the repair shop. Could it be that when it was driven to test that the transmission was working they realized that the A/c wasnt working and parked it but since they were so busy got side tracked and that might have been what happened in it all? I just need to know if it's possible that the a/c could have gotten damaged with them doing that repair because it all worked when i dropped it off 3 days prior to that and it took them a longer than anticipated to do what he said would take the morning to repair. this could end up costing me over 1000 and thats crazy.
