What is your question?
I have an 03 yukon. When went to start it this morning when it was pretty cold outside. It struggled to start due to the cold, but once I got the car started, many random electrical components quit working. 1. gas/battery/oil pressure/ engine temp gauges quit working. Speedometer and tachometer work fine. 2. The power locks and windows quit working. Keyless locks stopped working (worked right before I started it) 3. The ABS/ battery and airbag lights stay on after the car was started. 4. Overhead light does not turn on when the doors are opened. or turned on from the dash. They will turn on with the switch by the light. 5. Radio works, but it will not turn off when the door is opened after the car is turned off. I checked all the fuses and everything is good there. Car starts just fine. Any ideas? Thanks

Professional quality scanner will be needed to sort through all of these issues .. We could post a list of possibilities - however that doesn't help solve the problems .. It would be moot to even offer a guess without hands-on testing. â–ªï¸https://repairpal.com/repair-shopsâ–ªï¸
This is defiantly odd but here are two things to check .On the passenger side of the engine block is a black ground wire. Make sure its tight and the wire is not broken. Also, I found a thread online on this exact issue and the posted claimed there was a connector under the driver seat that was damaged. Other than that you will need a complete scan and a good electrical technicain Post back and let us know how it goes. Alex
Had same happen to my truck ended up being a bad door chime module you need for after market radios
So I had the same problem on my 06 avalanche quick fix almost guaranteed the problems will be solved after unhooking the battery terminals and touching them together for 10 seconds good luck pretty sure that's gonna work out for ya let me know if not I'll help figure it out
Omg! Thank you. I have a 2004 Yukon Denali and had the same issues. Battery, fuel, temp, oil, indicators all on right side not working after super cold night and alarm went off when I tried to use my aftermarket auto start in the morning. Also windows, door locks, driver buttons didn't work either. Said unknown driver and abs light was on also. I touched the pos and negative battery cables together for 10-15 seconds and a everything works again. I'm a middle aged female, not a mechanic. Problems are fixed! Your awesome.
I know this is posting on a thread from the dead. But, thank you! This just fixed my 03 Escalade. I recently had electrical work done at the dealership and things were fine for a couple of weeks until today. Slow crank followed by ABS/Battery/SRS lights on along with dead IPC and no power to windows or locks. When checking fuses and relays I found the + cable loose. I tightened it with no change. Then tried this. Fixed immediately.
Pro quality scan tool can run functional test on the instrument cluster .. This will determine if it’s an input signal failure or the cluster itself is the culprit .. There are numerous test that can be performed with the proper scan tool ... For accurate and successful diagnostic testing - There is *absolutely nothing* that can take the place of an experienced technician with a high quality scanner! This equipment can cost in excess of 10k dollars .. I’m not referring to some sort of code reader here!
