Replaced steering column in 1996 GMC Yukon and now it won't start

What is your question?

So someone tried to steal my Yukon and I had to replace the steering column. After installation it won't start or even turn on. Checked the battery of course but still nothing. Not sure what could be the problem.

Unfortunately it is very little we can offer that will be helpful here 'online' since the column has been 'replaced' .. This is going to require *hands-on* inspection / evaluation to determine the failure.
