What is your question?
I own a 94 Yukon since 99. I've done several tune ups in the past. I recently did a tune up & it won't start. I replaced the cap, rotor, wires & plugs. I bought GM parts. I bought them at Advance Auto Parts. I gapped the spark plugs at 45. I did accidently cross the 5 & 7 wires on the cap. I knew exactly what happened by the way it sounded when I tried to start it. I corrected my mistake & tried to start it again. It still didn't start I let go of the key the horn chirped 3 times. I talked to a retired mechanic I know & he recommended me to replace the control module in the distributor. I did & it turns faster but it won't start. It acts like it wants to but eventually the motor binds up & the horn chirps 3 X. One time I was trying to force start by keep on trying to start it & the horn went off & never stopped. I disconnected the battery. My mechanic friend double checked my work & couldn't find the problem. He said cause the horn chirped it was secured by the security system.

When I hear things like the horn chirping - I wonder about what kind of security system may be employed with the vehicle. I've briefly reviewed the workshop manual and can't find any mention of any key related immobilizer function on this vehicle, nor a factory installed anti-theft system. Is there perhaps an aftermarket anti-theft system installed on this vehicle that might be affecting starting? The second thing that comes to mind is battery power - is the battery fully charged and known as good - able to handle a load? I'd say check for fuel delivery and ignition spark, but with the goofy horn chirp, I suspect other influences. Last - did everything work perfectly with no problem prior to the "tune up"?
