Replacement of engine/oil engine flush

What is your question?

I have a 2018 GMC Terrain Denali that is currently leaking and needs repairs. As advised by a GMC mechanic, it has GUNK in the oil filter that won’t allow me to establish an oil change, if it did, it will lock up my parking brakes as advised. It also was advised that a possible replacement of the engine. Please assist me on this and a possible estimated quote
