While making turns my 01 sonoma 4x4 makes a pop noise from the front right side

What is your question?

only pops one time for each direction I turn no matter if im traveling fast or slow and it doesn't happen all the time. the truck has 117k on it. wondering if it could be ball joints or what?

What makes this problem better or worse?

Worse when i turn sharp quicklyu

Have *steering stop* checked.

Steering travel end stop may only need lubricating - IF - popping noise happens when turning very hard or sharply. In any event - *hands-on* inspection / evaluation will be required - experienced mechanic can likely determine during short test drive. Good luck!
