Brake lights won't work

What is your question?

I have checked the fuses. I have all lights but no brake lights and my back up lights want come on this is a 5 speed manual transmission. This just happened out of nowhere I have replaced the back up switch a little over a year ago everything has been fine is there a part under the dash that could cause this like a power supply. Thanks

Double check fuses - under hood .. Link to a diagram below: https://www.autogenius.info/gmc-sonoma-1999-2002-fuse-box-diagram/ Also possible failed brake LIGHT switch - - shifter interlock has its own designated fuse. Seems far fetched but in reality the ‘signal light switch’ can cause a no brake light condition. Beyond TESTING fuses under hood - recommend seeking *hands-on* assistance from qualified personnel.
