truck turns over, runs for a while then shuts off on is own

after 5 hours yesterday of doing this and that, i found out that wiring going from the fuel pump to the motor above the transmission had fallen down , which over time (rubbing on top of the tranny) cause the ground wire to break inside the wires insulation. Now my truck runs better than ever, what a pain in the ass, but at least I have a few new senors installed.
