Heater will only work on settings 1-3 won't work on settings 4 or above

Be WISE to replace the wiring connector / pigtail as well ! All available at most auto parts stores ... NAPA for sure. Believe it or not > GM dealer also has very reasonable pricing - probably best route. Not a difficult repair - YouTube should have how to video(s). Good luck!

Now - this has no effect on heater output *TEMPERATURE* - only the blower SPEED.
