rear liftgate window

What is your question?

the rear liftgate.latch on the drivers side won't release,so i can't open any of the bottom doors or upper window . is there any special trick thats used to open the lift gate so i can replace the switches and rods? any info you can provide would be great. thanks.

I think you may have to remove the inside trim panels to get access to the latch mechanism from the inside.

I GUESS I WAS WISHING THERE WAS A GENERAL MOTORS SECRET. I HAVE A OBESE PROBLEM AND COULDN'T SQUEEZE MY 450 LB. BUTT BACK THERE . AND IF I DID I'M SURE I WOULD HAVE TO HAVE MY WIFE CALL 9-11 JUST TO GET OUT. BUT I DO THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.
