We put a new compressor on it..( the other one was unplugged but also bad) when we put the new one on and charged it, it ran for 15 minutes then stopped and burned the clutch up in the compressor.apparently there is something else amiss.( probably why the old one was dissconnected).please help..without AC this thing is like a coffin..

If there was the proper amount of oil in the system and provided the old compressor didn't break internally and send metal into the system, you may just have another bad compressor. This really needs to be looked at my a tech. There are many variables and a hands-on inspection is needed. Alex
Was the new compressor installed by personnel that's knowledgeable of automobile air conditioning systems? Proper amount of PAG oil added to new compressor before installation - at least ?
Highly recommend having A/C system professionally repaired .. Probably save a little money in the process. Beats riding in a coffin! Good luck!
Thank you..I think it may be a component to the ac system that made this happen.just thought someone may have run across the same thing .
