Does a new clutch fan have to be flashed for it to work once it is installed

That's what I figured just took my $65 but mine ha been on 2 years and now it is not hardly turning once I stop my engine after its warm my fan turns 2 or 3 revolutions after i shut it off and it doesn't spin on high once my engine starts to overheat

What's the engine codes?

it is not showing anything and my check engine light has not came on but as the temps out side start to warm it will not run hot you can drive it anywhere but once you stop and sit the temp starts rising and the fan continues to run at the same speed but I checked it today when my temp was half way I shut the car off and the fan continued to turn 2-3 full revolutions and also when its running with a leather glove on I can reach down and stop the clutch fan

That sounds like a failing fan clutch!.. The viscous fluid may be depleted, if it were the electrical circuit...should have code.
