What is your question?
My GMC Envoy has been working fine and I drove it earlier today to run some errands and parked it at home. 4hrs later my wife gets in to use it, starts it up fine, tries to go in reverse and the car doesn't move. The engine revs up but wont move forward or reverse. Its almost as if it its in park. One thing I did notice is that when I shifted the gear its was a lot smoother when transitioning from Park to the other shifts than any other time. On the dashboard the vehicle still says Park when I shift the gears and also when I shift it isn't allowing me to push my vehicle, its almost as if it is stuck in park even after shifting. My car has 153000 miles. My car has a manual transmission and the transmission oil is good

It is indeed still in PARK .. The reason is the shifter cable has popped off the transmission linkage, under vehicle on drivers side .. Repair grommet is available without replacing the cable assembly! .. Firmly apply parking brake before attempting to get underneath the vehicle! .. (Equipped with 'automatic' transmission)
Thanks a lot for your help. I will take it in to get fixed in the morning. Also my vehicle is automatic transmission, not manual as I previously stated
Make sure the repair facility is aware that the plastic repair grommet IS available and the cable assembly does NOT need to be replaced .. Repair is fairly simple .. You may want to google > shifter cable repair Envoy Trailblazer and check the results page, should find a YouTube video on how it's done.. Read my answer again and if you decide to give it a shot, work safety!
Ok will do. I believe I came across that video earlier when I was trying to figure out the issue.. It does look fairly easy to fix, my only issue is being able to get under my vehicle
I understand that for sure, I'm used to having em hoisted on a lift .. perhaps you can call local repair shop and see if they are familiar with this problem and how much it will cost to repair .. Good luck with it!
Thank you, you've been a big help! because I was lost for a second
U welcome.
