When im in park and i have my heat on my car idles up.

My cousin tried to jump his truck off my envoy but my positive post was loose at the time.so right after that my car just stopped on me the next day i finally got it to start but once i got home it died again.i put a alternater on it and i cleaned the throttle flap now the check engine light is on reduce engine power is on and my battery wont stay charged its a new battery also.i tried driving it to my moms when it stop accelerating it felt like it didnt wanna go faster and right when i got to my moms it cut off i had to get a boost to start it the mechanic said it was my alternater so thats what made me buy a new one.
