Why does the a/c stop running when a phone call is coming in?

I have only had the car fo r a couple of weeks and today when my phon e rang, once I ans we're it th e air condition went off. Once th e call was completed the ac came back on. Of course the radio goes off during the call but why the ac?

How long has your 2017 GMC Acadia had this problem?

I noticed today. First time I used ac when a call came thru.
