set transmission to park and turn off engine and electronics continues to run and a warning message of not in part. Also when this happens, can't lock the vehicle
What is your question?
Frustration. Put car in park and shut the engine off. Get the "warning- shift to park message." Electronics stay on and door does not lock. The current work around is to open the back door before I start the car and when I stop and shift to park and kill the engine the warning does not sound.
What makes this problem better or worse?
opening the back door before starting the car overrides the alarm.
