Sprayed connection cleaner in ignition it died and won't start

What is your question?

Sprayed starting fluid in it to check if it was a fuel problem and it did not charge or do anything just turns over. it didn't phase it. Im thought the ignition beeped when I would leave the key in it it does not do that now so I'm thinking it is the anti-theft starting chip in the ignition. don't know what I was thinking as a sprayed in there I thought this is the wrong stuff that I hope it don't mess it up and I think it did.
