Key won't turn in the ignition.

Have a spare and it won't work either

Is it worn as well; Has had problems with worn keys, they should be replaced with new ones. Possibly has a bad lock cylinder at this point, or really shows up in cold weather.

I think it might be the cold just don't know how to warm it up

Can u get a hair dryer to it?

Is there a way I could start it and unlock the steering wheel with a screwdriver?

No unless you drill and ruin the lock.
