Hose near safety neutral switch is unattached and can't figure out where it goes

IF it were related to P/S or Trans .. Fluid would be SPRAYING out of it with engine on .. More likely vacuum circuit or air cleaner assembly related... Vacuum hose diagram under hood 'might' help... Finding what the other end of the hose is attached to would be a definite clue as to it's purpose. Probably a good idea to have a mechanic look at it.
