AC Delco makes both door ajar switches # F6054 drivers and pass doors and # F6059 for the sliding door
First, and I'm not trying to be insulting, is to make sure all the doors are shut when you hear the chime. This can be caused by a sticky or faulty door switch, I believe the switch is integrated into the latch mechanism. I have read you can try cleaning the switch but it requires removing the interior door panel to access the switch.
There must be a problem with the sensor on the door that it thinks is always open. Isolate the door, inspect the sensor, and maybe you're done. You will probably need help locating the sensor: http://bit.ly/autozone_repair_info http://bit.ly/alldata_repair_manualsÂ
There is a button-like sensor on the drivers side door that touches a pad on my car's swinging door - a Sonata - I built up a layer of duct tape on the swinging door to help press the sensor down
