Do not rely on the codes, what the CK ENG LT program is for is to protect the catalytic convertor and the catalytic convertor is to protect the environment. Driving a short distance smoke and a swirl sound and fishy smell this is a coolant leak, a pressure test of the cooling system is the best way to approach the situation
Fishy smell is very old coolant. Smoke was probably a coolant leak so don't drive it and get it in to a shop where they can visually inspect and/or pressure test the cooling system and make repairs.
