I'll keep that in mind! My brother who is a mechanic (not in my area)suggested it might be the ignition switch,if it doesn't go back to the correct position when key is released. I drove all day today, start and stopped several times. No problems! At this time, I will have to wait and see. Is it true the problem can't be found unless its actually happening at that moment? - Christina
Here's what he say's - for $270+tax he'll diagnose & fix the problem. If it cost more, he'll let me know how much more! He wouldn't give me a bottom line quote to just diagnose the problem. I find this excessive & questionable. What do you think?
get a 2nd est
Then I went to a Ford Dealership, today 6/4. I'm told they can't diagnose the problem because the problem has resolved itself. I just have to wait until it happens again!? I think that's as strange as paying for a diagnosis that hasn't been made!!! What is going on? I use my car for business. How exciting is it to know your car may or may not work properly to get you back home? At least I have AAA for a tow! today there is a full moon. That must explain it all. Sorry - just venting. Thanks for your time!
check your flasher, believe it or not I had no turn signal, no brake lights, no emergency flasher, but headlights worked fine. I could not believe it when I found out it was the flasher.
