My car has been chugging and stalling going up hill. Now it was parked on a steep downhill and wasn't started for a few days. It has fuel ten gallons in it. Fuel gauge didn't work so keep track. It wants to start but won't turn over

Fuel guage not working ... Engine 'CRANKS' ok but will not start ... Put some more gas in the tank ... It's the easiest and most logical test you can make!! .. You'd be supprised at the number of em I have towed in for this same reason ... Yes, those owners were absolutely 'certain' there was plenty of gas in their tanks too!
