What is your question?
I started my car (after buying a new battery last week that was larger than the factory one I had) and suddenly my heater is on high and cannot be adjusted or turned off & my radio won't turn on? It took the mechanic 4 hrs to find it's a sensor in the middle panel (and now can't find the part and said it may need to be built at the factory) so my questions are: - Does 4 hrs to find the problem seem like a long time? - Should the part be so hard to replace? - Could the stronger battery be to blame? This is a new mechanic for me (I just moved to town) and I'm starting to doubt that I should have trusted my brothers referral. Thanks in advance for your help. Judi

your car either takes a group 58 or 59..whatever the motorcraft battery that (BLANK) took out,i would have put the same back in it,or just looked in the owners manual.who took the old battery out,and who put the new one in??? the blower motor resistor is more than likely burnt,it defaults the blower motor to high and or wont turn off when it's burnt..the radio might need you to enter a code, not real sure on that vehicle, but you can find out by reading your owners manual.and,NO,the factory ain't gonna be making you a part(one part)..everything should have been turned off before disconnecting the battery.the battery is not the problem unless it was hooked up backwards.and YES,find you a good mechanic, because the one you have now has a few lights out! what part is the mechanic looking for? why didn't you just go to Autozone, they install vehicle batteries for FREE..
