My heat doesn't come on in my 2008 Ford Taurus. I have change thermostat.

Blower is blowing cold air and not heat.

after the engine gets to normal operating temperature can you hold the 2 heater hoses by putting your hand around them and holding them without letting them go,because they are very HOT?heater hoses coming out of the heater core under the hood.
