Harsh or Delayed Shifting of Automatic Transmission, how to get it to code?

I was having the same issue with my 2008 Ford Taurus.I did a bunch of research online and I found that there was a computer chip that they had to change out. I wish I could remember the details about it if you do some research online you can probably find the information I believe I started out by googling transmission hesitation on 2008 Ford Taurus. I was under warranty at the time so it covered all but my deductiblebut once I had that that told in that computer chip taking care of it stopped doing that. they either change don't ship or they changed the code for the transmission. I'm surprised your Ford dealership wasn't aware of it because that's where I took mine was to the place I bought it which was the dealership for Ford. some of what I read online about it some of the post had some like code number and apparently it was an issue they never did a recall on it but you would think that Ford would fix it for no cost.good luck I hope you're able to find the solution I'll look online later see if I can find the information or I might even have it written down and one of my notebooks so I'll almost done here the information if I can find it might take me a couple days because I do work this afternoon its hard when you're a female and you go to the shops. the one guy wrote on his post that we shouldn't have to pay to have that fixed because it was basically a fly and their coding but I couldn't convince my Ford dealership to do it for nothing.
