What is your question?
The car originally was fine when we bought it & a few months later it died. We didn’t really bother with it because we had a secondary car at the time. We were forced to now have to get this one running. We discovered that the battery was dead, so we changed out the battery. The car was still having issues keeping a charge to be able to do anything. We found out that the alternator needed to be replaced and did so. We then had to get a new battery as well. The car has been running fine except the fact that you can’t use the a/c while driving, the car falls on its face sometimes when accelerating too fast and the lights dim occasionally when pressing on the gas. We aren’t sure if it’s possible that we got another bad alternator or if this could be one of the many other things. Whenever we took it to a shop to get it checked for codes, there weren’t any so we are at a loss. Thanks!!
What makes this problem better or worse?
The car shutters & falls on its face when the a/c is on.
How long has your 2007 Ford Taurus had this problem?
A few months

Lights dim - lack of power - a/c on: IF accompanied by squealing noise (belt slippage) - Have the air conditioner compressor tested for binding when being rotated by hand.. *Hands-on* evaluation is required in any event. Good luck!
