Has to be checked with the engine running, is there any fluid in the radiator as well. Just wondering if the cooler ruptured allowing coolant into the transmission, overfilling, or cold be the transmission pump may be bad not moving the fluid while running. Get it to someplace like AAMCO for a free diagnostics and estimate, then shop around for a price for repairs.
