The electrical part of this latch is on the lower back side of it, so if you can , loosen the 3 screws and remove all but one top screw ( to keep it lined up) It's connected to the actuator rods so don't worry that it might fall in. it won't With the Window up, Get some penetrating oil ( with the plastic hose on the nozzle) and try in and around the it to coat the entire latch.
