I hear the motor running as it should,but the mast remains up. Need I remove the unit from the car to replace a mast with a bad cable? If so,does it remove from the wheelwell or from inside the car.Thank you.

inside the car. the entire antennae has to be replaced. cable replacements very rarely work as other damage usually results when the cable fails. Roy
Thank you.I assumed that the entire unit needed to be replaced,until I saw some antenna/cable kits on ebay.Thought I'd check here.
