Has the bulbs ever been changed? You might have been driving on one low beam and it finally burnt out
It's uncommon for both to get burnt out at the same time but if there was an event, like say hitting a big pothole or something, you should pull the bulbs and check them. If there isn't an event or something you know happened for sure, I would say a relay. Check fuses. Don't handle the bulbs with you bare fingers, use a clean rag or glove, the oil from your hand's skin is enough to shorten the life of the bulb. It could also be your switch. The high beams will always work live by pulling back or forward on your turn signal switch, hot from the ignition block. There is a fuse box under the dash driver's side, and one under the hood. One other thing I know for sure, if your head lights come on but instrument panel lights, or parking lights don't, it's most likely a fuse. Do the marker or parking lights come on?
