What is your question?
First time starting my car in the morning it does not like to start. I have to "flutter" the gas pedal to get it to start and then keep revving the engine until it levels out and runs smooth. After the initial morning start it starts fine the rest of the day. Runs smooth while driving. No other issues besides the initial morning start. I did just recently change my temperature sensor but feel this is unrelated. What could cause this?

On the contrary... The coolant temp SENSOR has everything to do with cold starts!!!.. Scanner will show actual sensor reading BEFORE engine is started.... Should read ambient temperature!!
Agree, the temp sensor definitely could be the cause of your symptoms. If you need assistance with fixing it we have all the scan tools and equipment to take care of the issue.
ok so what do I do to fix this problem? It started when I changed the sensor because my temp gauge was not working. The gauge works now but I have this starting problem. My check engine light keeps coming on and a scanner is saying low coolant even though the coolant tank it showing the correct amount.
Oh, you have access to a 'scanner'....veiw live data screen to see what coolant temperature sensor reads through PCM before starting cold engine.... Also other applicable cold start data... Post codes if you have them, might help!!!
I am a little confused. What will this tell me exactly? My father is the car expert..lol but he also has 2 vehicles that has the same issue but "doesnt know why they do it." I would like to find out why so I can fix it and not have to worry about if my car is going to start the next morning.
IF the sensor if reading the outside temperature incorrectly it will not start up right!.. There may be an open circuit to the sensor or defective sensor that's telling the computer the wrong thing.... Some testing has got to be done to prevent all this guessing!.. Post codes!
Ok got it! Thanks!! I will try this.

Car went to the shop. Found out I was told to get the wrong part. There is a temperature switch and a temperature sensor. I was supposed to get the temperature switch, not the sensor. Shop said my car was reading that it was 200 degrees outside before starting. Hopefully now that it has the right part, it will start like it should tomorrow morning!
It should be ok.
