Had oil change & tires rotated a mo. ago. Tech said PS pump was leaking.

What is your question?

He topped off the PS fluid, said we needed a new PS pump. Fluid is still at the same level, not leaking, it makes no noise upon turning the wheel. Can the PS pump go out without any symptoms or was he simply trying to drum up business?
