Accidentally put gas in coolant reservoir, I soaked it up with rags, is it safe or do I need to clean the reservoir more or flush the radiator?
What is your question?
We had a can of anti-freeze that actually had gasoline in it and didn't realize it until a small amount was poured into the coolant reservoir of a late 90's Ford Taurus. I soaked up what I could with rags and have not started the car. The reservoir appears empty but still smells like gas. Do we need to do a more thorough cleaning of the reservoir or flush the radiator? It was a very small amount of gasoline and the reservoir is empty now.
